MS Security Patch Compatibility
Microsoft regularly provides security updates to their Windows operating system. You want the peace of mind of knowing that these updates have been tested against OSIsoft's flagship product, the PI Enterprise Server.
The following compatibility chart lists all the MS security updates that have successfully passed our compatibility tests in our lab environment.

Presently our tests focus on the PI Server running the latest version on Windows Server 2003 32-bit edition, SP1 with all publicly available updates. In the future we anticipate expanding our verification program to include more products from OSIsoft and other OS versions.
Once a patch has been released to the public, we will add it to the list of compatible patches if it has passed our test process successfully. If a patch is missing from the list, it could mean that it was rolled into a subsequent security patch, or that it involves a product that is not considered part of a standard PI system. For instance we do not presently consider SQL Server, .NET Framework, or Exchange to be part of a standard PI system, so patches involving these products are not included in our test program.
If any security patch fails our tests, we will list it specifically as a non-compatible patch.
