OSIsoft software compatibility with the Microsoft Vista operating system [updated]
OSIsoft has tested the installation and function of the following software and versions on Vista (RTM). In all cases Vista testing was performed as a subset of the testing on the primary OS for the release (Windows XP SP2). All of the below software can be installed and run on Vista. Any issues identified on Vista are noted in the product release notes:

PI SDK repair dialog in Excel when .NET v1.1 is not installed
When using OSIsoft add-ins in Excel you may see an SDK repair dialog. The repair is ineffectual and will happen each time you open Excel. This happens if the .NET Framework v1.1 is not installed and you are running Excel 2003 or earlier (without the KB907417 patch). This may affect users of TagConfigurator, DataLink, BatchView, Analysis Framerwork, PI Module DataBase Builder. You will not see this problem if you are using Excel 2007. PI SDK 1.3.3 does not install on Windows Vista, affecting most current PI software installation kits

No batch subsystem units found using Unit Migration Utility v.1.0.0.6 with PI SDK 1.3.2.282

Gantt chart displays incorrect duration for batches longer than 24 hours
A patch has been posted to fix problem 3901osi8 where the Gantt chart incorrectly showed the durations of batches for the ToolTip and Properties dialog. Only batches greater than 24 hours and less than 48 hours were affected. See the readme.htm file for more details. The patch contains version 3.0.2.3 of the btrend32.dll.The full version 3.0.3 of BatchView also fixes this problem.
