pipt_typicalvalue

This function retrieves the typical value for a point. The typical value is used in typical value calculations by the Performance Equation package.

Arguments

pt (passed)

Point number

typicalvalue (returned)

Typical value attribute for the passed point number

Usage Notes

For integer tags, the typical value is returned as a float.

For digital tags on PI3, the positive offset of the typical state is returned as a float. For digital tags on PI2, the absolute state number of the typical state is returned as a positive floating point number.
