PITimeFormat Object

    Example

The PITimeFormat object is a  representation of a time that contains a dependency on a PITimeZoneInfo object representing the time zone information for a particular time source. This dependency allows PITimeFormat to handle several kinds of conversion that PITime cannot handle.

The PITimeFormat object, inherits from PITime, so it implements the PITime interface. This allows you to pass a PITimeFormat to any argument that can accept a PITime.

You can create a PITimeFormat, obtain a PITimeZoneInfo object from a Server or other clock source and set it into the PITimeFormat object to provide time conversions for time zones other than the current machine's.

Remarks

This object supports the IPIPersist interface.

This object is independently creatable.
