AddIntervals Method (PITimeFormat Object)

See Also     Example

The AddIntervals method returns a local DATE that represents the object's internal date/time after adding the passed number of intervals of the passed interval type using wall clock math.

object.AddIntervals IntervalName, nIntervals

The AddIntervals method syntax has these parts:

Part Description
object An object expression that evaluates to a PITimeFormat object.
IntervalName An interval name or index from the TimeIntervals collection.
nIntervals The number to add or subtract from the passed time

Only integer arithmetic may be done for intervals that vary in elapsed time due to daylight savings changes and leap years.

The PITimeFormat object will use the currently set time zone property or the system default if none is set.
