DisplayUser provides a string showing the most readable representation of the currently connected security principal (the user, group, or computer that is currently assigned access to this server). In most cases, this will be the domain user or a member of the PI user database depending on the Authentication method used for the connection.
|object||An object expression that evaluates to a IServerConnect interface.|
If no connection has yet been made to the Server by the process, there is no Current User and no displayable User and the error pseSERVERNOTOPEN is raised if the property is accessed. This property is not cleared when a connection is closed, allowing an application to access the last logged-on user name within the process. When a new connection is opened to a new user, the CurrentUser and the DisplayUser property are updated.
In addition to generic errors (such as Out of Memory), the following errors may occur:
|pseSERVERNOTOPEN||Method is called on a server that has not been opened. Note that opened server disconnected due to network error does not generate this error.|
