PutID Method (MessageLog object)

                 

 

This method sends a message to the object’s associated MessageLog using a language neutral identifier and an array of language specific variant arguments to fill in the message’s placeholders. .

Syntax

object.PutID ID, MessageArguments

The PutID method syntax has these parts:

Description

object

An object expression that evaluates to a MessageLog object.

ID

A long containing the non zero message identifier of the message to be sent. The identifier refers to a particular predefined message which may be displayed in languages where the resource file containing this message ID is present. The predefined message may contain placeholders for variable elements of the message which are language specific.

MessageArguments

An array of variants containing the arguments to be inserted into the placeholders of the message in order.
