The PIGlobalRestorer object is used to restore objects persisted using the IPIPersist interface. It has two methods: RestoreObject and RestoreServers.
To restore persisted objects it uses other objects that implement the IPIRestorer interface.
This object is independently creatable. It is also available via the IPIGlobalRestorer secondary interface of the PISDK object.
You must have a PISDK object instantiated in your program to restore PISDK objects (like PIPoint, PIModule, etc.) using the PIGlobalRestorer object.
