Enhancements to make device level status tags optional, to allow use of HART long tag attribute in PI AF model, and to provide connectivity status for devices.
Enhancements
•Device level status tags are now optional – You can now choose which PI points for the Field Device Status, Extended Field Device Status, and Additional Device status are created. Configuration is accomplished via a picklist on the connector data source configuration page.
•Long tag attribute of HART device can be used to create the PI AF model – The Long tag attribute can be used to name HART devices and may provide a more process-centric description of the HART measurement devices.
•Connectivity status is now indicated for devices - When devices are not connected or not communicating to gateway the connector writes a System Digital State to the measurement status tag.
