Some minor additions to the web data entry interface are provided in this release. They include:
- Allow a tour run to be launched with a URL string
- Improve how limit violations are shown
- Allow values to be entered and reviewed in a grid
- Improve navigation to specific entries in a tour run

The focus of this release is providing support for additional mobile devices. Basic functionality will be provided for these new device targets using a web server and browsers that support HTML5, with a roadmap to be prepared for additional features over time.
- Support for newer mobile devices such as iPhones using a device-agnostic approach
- Older Windows Mobile interface will not be included in the release, but will continue to work with this version.
PI Manual Logger 2012
New enhancements allow upload/download of large Tours containing 1000s of Tags in a single Tour. In PI ML Mobile, the field display for Equipment, Tag and Description is increased to 4 lines so that you can see more text on the main screen without having to scroll or go to a separate Operator Instructions screen. Also, the History tab is marked with a “*” when the current Tag has comment entries in History. This helps to quickly differentiate between Tags with and without comments from previous operator rounds. Added support for Windows Server 2012, Windows 8 and Microsoft SQL 2012. New PI ML Mobile options allow you to specify the Digital States drop-down list sort order and the transfer folder location on the PC when using the docking station.

This release supports import/export of Tour definition via XML which speeds up Tour Configuration when you have a large number of Tours or Tours with lots of Tags. Also, new options allow mobile devices to do all data transfer without having to use a docking station or establishing a partnership with a PC.
