A set of prioritized customer requests will be addressed in this Service Release. There will not be an updated MUI kit for this release. Note that this release of PI ProcessBook will not support PI Servers using PI User accounts due to updated support for newer PI System data access components. If your PI System still relies on PI User accounts for security, you should not upgrade to this release until you have implemented Windows Integrated Security or trusts.

The main focus of this release will be support for the new tag type (that stores future data) in PI Server 2015. Changes to PI ProcessBook will allow data from these tags to be updated on displays even when the data is already present in the archive (that is, the data isn't really updating, just the presentation of it). In addition, a number of Support Call requests will be addressed while the new capabilities are being worked on.

3.2.3.0 Patch
3.2.3.0
2010-11
This patch addresses performance issues with PI Calculation datasets.
This is a patch for PI ProcessBook 3.2.0.0 and 3.2.1.0. The patch addresses a performance issue associated with large numbers of datasets. Note: PI ProcessBook 3.2.2 patch is not compatible with this patch.
Clients migrating from PI ProcessBook 3.0.x to 3.2 have reported reduced performance and increased PI Server Base-subsystem CPU loading with displays that use a significant number of datasets. This patch changes how PI ProcessBook differentiates between summary and expression datasets – removing the need to re-query the PI Server to make that determination. See the release notes for additional information.

3.2.1.0 Patch
3.2.1.0

This patch addresses problems with automating selections in the Element Relative Display (ERD) add-in.
This patch addresses an issue with PI ProcessBook and PI ActiveView 3.2.0.0 where the use of automation to affect the list of AF contexts or to change the current context via VBA or add-in code appears to execute successfully; however, the display fails to properly resolve the context and will report “Cannot be resolved” for the elements (which is also indicated in the PI ProcessBook/PI ActiveView Status Report).
