PI Interface for Ramp Soak Simulator Data Overview

The PI Data Archive installation includes versions of several useful interfaces. The Ramp Soak Simulator, which is installed and configured when you install PI Data Archive, is an excellent source of test data.
 
PI Interface for Ramp Soak Simulator can simulate random, sinusoidal, and batch data. You can run the interface remotely or directly on the PI Data Archive server.
 
This interface simulates the output of a batch system by writing simulated batch data and batch phases to batch active and phase PI points. A typical waveform has ramps up, ramps down, and level phases (soaks). Noise can be simulated both on the signal and on the phase end times.
